Color Trends 2024

It is official color is making a comeback! There is always a color trend going on; but, is the color you like part of a micro trend? Mega trend? Or, maybe something in between? The micro trends are quick to roll in and quick to roll out while mega trends stick around for about ten years sometimes longer. The cool colors that have been in vogue for awhile now are now shifting to warmer hues.

This year Sherwin Williams announced Upward as their color of the year, a peaceful blue with gray undertones. Benjamin Moore selected Blue Nova a more saturated violet blue. While Pantone with a global approach to color selection announced a warm Peach Fuzz. Earthy tones, warmer neutrals, and darker shades are moving in bringing a blend of the natural colors we see outside into our interiors.

The good news is that if you take a look at any color trend announcement there are a variety of color options to choose from. Blues, greens, pinks, beiges, golds, and grays are all in the line up. The micro trends keep of from getting bored and the mega trends keep our interiors timeless. The naked eye can see 10 million colors and the right color for you is the one that reflects your personal style.
